Dear Isabel, Ontario Ford government now requires all healthcare professionals to work, cancelling all vacations, and flexibility to deploy to other locations of work when need be. How did I get so lucky to be on mat leave and avoiding this chaos right now? What did I do to deserve this? God has been so good to me all throughout my life, Izzy. I know you can trust in Him to be good to you as well...protecting you.  Back in 2018 after your Dada and I had been married for 1.5 years, we decided it was time to move from our one bedroom Aqua condo in the harbourfront to a house. We needed more space to store all the stuff that we have. We went through three bids before getting the 96 Glebemount Ave house. We lost the house we both really loved, 33 Gates. But your Dada saw how much I liked this one and he allowed us to put a higher offer than we wanted - $1.1M! that's a whole lot of money! Dear Isabel, Sorry mommy didn't get to spend much time with you this morning and now you are napping!  I am still sadden by Covid19. I've been praying with auntie Charissa every Monday morning. She is a good friend who listens, cares and prays even though she is very busy with a toddler and second pregnancy. If and when you find a friend like this, make sure you willingly keep the conversation going from time to time. Catch up and pray together with her. Good will listen.  One of the many things God's blessed me with are my childhood friends. My oldest one being auntie Samantha whom I met when I was three at a Chinese school ran by a church (Scarborough Chinese Mission Baptist Church later changed their name to Rosewood Baptist Church). Auntie Sam's mom Auntie Alice is also good friends and sister in Christ with Grandma Barbara. Friends for over 30 years are rare. If both parties are willing to get in touch and meet regularly, then continue the effort. Lifelong friends....

My dear Isabel, We are so blessed that both Dada and I are on parental leave during this time of city lock down. Financially we have prepared for this leave so it's okay to not have as much money coming in. God provides. We get to spend time together as a family. I loved cuddling with you today. Hugging, kissing, smiling, singing, reading, playing. I love your laughs and giggles and how your eyes light up and head turn towards me when you hear my voice. I hope you will always give me your full attention and that I will do the same. 337,570 positive cases today. This number is actually from last week...that's how long it took to get the tests results back apparently. 98,884 patients recovered 14,655 patients died. When will this number stop increasing? Dear Isabel, It has been 11 days since the World Health Organization declared we are in a pandemic with COVID-19. As I slowly start to panic and see that the last three months of virus in Wuhan, China has quickly made it's way across this planet, to North America and to Canada, I realize that I may not be able to survive this plague. You see, mommy, is a full time radiographer. I work in the front lines at St. Michael's Hospital - one of the two adult trauma hospitals in Ontario. Although I am currently on maternity leave thanks to having you for the past nine and half months, once my 18 month leave ends, I need to go back to work...in eight months. It's my civic duty to care for the sick. Jesus cared for the sick. Even when he didn't want to die for us, he did it anyway. If he did it, I should do it too. But, I hate the thought of separating with you. Will this coronavirus be over by then? Mommy love you! Janet
